Yes, your credentials are stored securely on your Mac and are never shared with other parties. In fact, Remtoloc is designed so it cannot access your credentials.

No, for security reasons, Remtoloc only supports SSH key authentication.

You need macOS 14 or higher, and the application works on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

Once opened, Remtoloc appears in the top navigation bar of your Mac. From there, you can sync your projects with just two clicks.

You don’t need an SSH connection to connect to a managed database. Follow these steps:

• In Remtoloc, click on your project and select MySQL.
• Uncheck 'Use SSH for MySQL dump'.
• Select your SSL certificate.
• Enter your host (e.g., yourusername.db.ondigitalocean.com).
• Fill in your username and password.
• Enter your port, typically 25060.
